Homeschooling...what to say? I had wanted to do it ever since I was in Grad School...when Belle was an infant. But, somewhere along the line, I got scared, or overwhelmed, or frustrated, or annoyed, or burned out...something. And I just didn't think I could do it without going CRAZY.
But, through a series of events, we decided that it was really the best thing for our kids (especially for Derek who would just be in trouble all the time in public school - too much energy for a boy that bright!) I wasn't sure how it would go, but after 6 months, it's pretty safe to say that it's the BEST decision I've ever made for my kids, and we are all still LOVING it so much!
I want to start posting some of our work on here, just as a way to document all the things we are learning about and all the fun we're having!
